OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
“Striving for community and business betterment; and recognition of Bonita as an ideal place to live, work and conduct business.”
The Bonita Business & Professional Association (BBPA) provides our members with opportunities to “network” and meet some of the finest business people representing a wide variety of businesses. For over thirty years, our members have been the business and community leaders of San Diego’s South County and surrounding areas. They are proud to represent strong ethical and professional standards while promoting their local businesses.
We also organize important community building events such as the Rootin' Tootin' Chili Cook-off, Bonitafest and Holiday Tree Lighting. Our many functions and events have generated over $50,000 in academic scholarships for Bonita Vista High School graduates, the Bonitafest Junior Hosts & Hostesses, and the Miss Bonita Educational Scholarships.
The BBPA has also supported the Olympic Training Center, South Bay Family YMCA, Bonita Historical Museum, Bonita Vista High School Band, Performing Arts, Water Polo teams and repairs for the Snack Building. Donations also include the Chula Vista and Eastlake High Schools, Bonita Kiwanis, Bonita Optimist Club and the Bonita-Sunnyside Library Children’s Reading Corner to name just a few.
